Positioned atop the highest point of a steeply sloping, sandy site directly opposite the beach, the four modules of this architectural endeavour are artfully arranged in a dynamic Z-shape. This configuration allows for rotation and dramatic cantilevers supported by tall columns, enhancing both the structure’s visual impact and its engagement with the surrounding landscape.
On the lower level, two modules, each containing two bedrooms and a bathroom, are cleverly separated by a verandah, creating a seamless transition between private and semi-outdoor spaces. Above these, the arrangement ascends to include a living room module alongside a kitchen, laundry, and powder room module. These upper elements open onto expansive roof decks that rest above the lower modules, featuring a bridge that leads to a prefabricated concrete pool. This design not only maximises the site’s challenging topography but also capitalises on the stunning coastal views, creating a layered living experience that is both innovative and intimately connected to its natural setting.
